Knowing Naples

Welcome to Knowing Naples, the third web site in the Knowing Italy series of web site blogs that I am developing. This site will be more than just Napoli and will explore the richness and beauty of Napoli and Campania region of Italy.

This is a work in progress - I hope to devote more to the site in the coming months. Check out Knowing Rome and Knowing Florence for a taste of what's to come.

Knowing Naples

Coming soon will be our blog on the city of Napoli, located in southern Italy in the Campania region as well as articles on the surrounding region of Campania.

This beautiful, vibrant and sometimes trouble city is home to a unique richness that is often ignored by travelers because of its reputation. Don't be fooled - Napoli has a lot to offer to the traveler and scholar. It is my hope that this blog will entice you to visit and learn about his unique region of Italy.

Featured will be short articles and posts on traveling to Naples as well as things to see and do while in this beautiful coastal city. Campania is a beautiful region, home to ancient Roman sites and ruins and other wonders worthy of exploration on your next trip to Italy.
